ABOUT NIPHANigeria Photography Awards is a special event for recognizing and encouraging skilled and outstanding Nigeria photographers.
It is about pulling together Nigeria’s best and emerging hands in the profession to showcase their works and to receive awards of special recognition in various categories in a befitting atmosphere of class, glitz and excitement. It is a product of assessing the status and evolution of professional photography in Nigeria in relation to the increasing competitiveness of the country’s economy.
Increasing competition in an economy mirrors rising investment levels and soaring real demand for innovative creative-support of market-share expansion. We consider photography as a prime dynamo forcreating and propelling favourable perception to effectively translate into high patronage and increasing profitability.
Nigeria Photography Awards is partly aimed at stimulating real and sustainable improvements in the inter-relationship and inter-dependence between professional Nigerian photographers and Nigeria’s growing business community. NI.PH.A is an initiative of Full House Entertainment Company, a subsidiary of Haykay Fotomedia.

To stimulate the birth of a realistic process of enhancing the level of organization, structure and productivity in the relationship between the economic sub-sector of photography in Nigeria and the institutional drivers of the country’s economy.
